Reviews on Tesla Electric in Texas were shared by the company via X.

“The installation, the cost of your equipment is more than going to be covered for your savings on electricity in a very short time. Years, not decades,” said a Tesla Electric customer in Texas.

Tesla Energy posted a short video on X, sharing three customers’ reviews of Tesla Electric in Texas. They pointed out a few benefits to signing up for Tesla Electric.

The first customer talked about Tesla Electric’s reduced bill rates compared to other electricity providers. He suggested that his bill dropped from $400 or $500 to $100 with Tesla Electric. He also showed a Tesla Electric bill that charged him $6.

“There’s definitely a simplicity with Tesla Electric. I will say it’s very clear what you’re paying and what you’re going to be paying,” commented the second Tesla Electric customer featured in the video.

Besides the fact that Tesla Electric’s bills are clear and lower than competitors, the video also emphasized the benefits of using the company’s other technologies with its service. Combining Tesla Electric with the company’s Powerwall or Solar Roof technologies can significantly decrease customers’ power bills and earn them credits.

Tesla Electric Plans

Tesla Electric offers a few service plans. First, Tesla Electric Fixed offers customers a flat energy rate during Standard Hours between 4 AM and 12 AM and lower energy rates for Wind Hours between 12 AM and 4 AM.

Customers who own electric vehicles (EVs) may choose a different Tesla Electric plan. Tesla Electric offers Tesla car owners unlimited overnight charging between 12 AM and 6 AM for a low fixed monthly fee. They may also charge their vehicles during the day between 6 AM and 12 AM for a low, flat rate. For customers who drive non-Tesla EVs, the company offers a discounted rate during Wind Hours between 12 AM and 4AM.

Tesla Electric also offers credits to customers with Powerwall and Solar. Customers may earn a fixed virtual power plant (VPP) credit of $400/year per Powerwall—with a cap of $1,200/year or three Powerwalls. Powerwall owners may also earn a competitive fixed rate for exporting stored energy. Meanwhile, Solar customers may earn a flat sellback rate of 5 cents/kWh for excess energy.
