Tesla’s Model 3 is heading to the East Coast, following a successful debut in the company’s Southern and Northern California showrooms. The Silicon Valley-based electric car maker is displaying its mass market compact sedan at the company’s store on Boylston Street in Boston and its New York City showroom in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district, as well as at the Aventura store in Miami, FL.

All three East Coast showrooms are displaying the Model 3 for public viewing starting Friday.

As could be seen in the Aventura invite, the general public would be able to experience the Model 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST. The invite also specified that those interested in the mass market electric compact sedan would be able to sit inside the Model 3 to experience its expansive glass roof and premium interior. Apart from this, attendees of the Model 3 display event would also be able to interact with the electric car’s 15-inch center touchscreen.

Quite notable in the invite was the fact that it explicitly mentioned that Tesla would be talking about the company’s dual-motor electric powertrain, which is expected to be offered in the Model 3 later this year. Considering that the California-based electric car firm is specifically discussing AWD during the Model 3 debut in the Miami store, there seems to be a pretty good chance that Tesla is on track to release the Model 3’ with dual-motor, all-wheel-drive configuration this Spring.

Apart from the Model 3 making its way to Massachusetts, New York, and Florida, the company will also be rolling out the vehicle to additional showrooms in the San Francisco Bay area, including San Jose and Walnut Creek.

The Model 3 has been a massive hit for Tesla — so much so that the electric car maker has tried to anti-sell the mass market sedan. Not long after its successful reveal back in 2016, Tesla, even CEO Elon Musk began anti-selling the car, comparing it unfavorably to the Model S. Despite this, however, reservations for the compact sedan continued to climb at a steady pace.

With the number of Model 3 displays increasing by steadily, Tesla is well on its way to increase the size of its reservation backlog for the mass market all-electric sedan. More importantly, it’s a signal that mass production of its most disruptive electric car to date could be hitting its stride.
