Tesla Owners Rally at National Plug In Day 2013 Los Angeles
National Plug In Day 2013 Los Angeles was one of 90+ events around the nation that celebrated the surge of electric vehicle adoption.
The weekend marks the third year in a row where Plug In America, along with help from local volunteers and EV club organizers such as TeslaMotorsClub, have rallied to raise awareness on the benefits of ditching gas burning vehicles for greener and environmentally friendly electric vehicles. We were there along with other Teslaratis to show our support.

We've seen blackout emblems before, but never have we seen a red emblem on a Model S. We love the contrast it makes against the white!
Among the more interesting sightings was how one Tesla Model S owner was able to address the issue of not having a spare tire. This Model S owner has taken it upon himself to convert the "frunk" into a spare tire storage unit. They've managed to fit a 21" tire, although a deflated wheel + tire combo is also possible, into the frunk. Stowed within the Tesla frunk organizer is a compact jack and electric tire pump. Nicely done!
