The upcoming Tesla Cybercab was teased in the company’s latest video on X.
Through a recent X post, Tesla highlighted two critical proposals that TSLA shareholders would vote for during the upcoming Annual Stockholders Meeting. Tesla’s 2024 Annual Stockholders Meeting will be held on June 13, 2024, at 3:30 PM CT.
Tesla recent X post focused on Proposal Three and Four. Proposal Three suggests that Tesla redomesticate the company from Delaware to Texas. Meanwhile, Proposal Four requests that TSLA stockholders approve Elon Musk’s 2018 Performance Award package 100%.
The X post included a short 2-minute video with visuals of Tesla’s past work and dropped some hints about the projects it is currently working on, like the Cybercab.
One visual reveals the potential interior of the Tesla Cybercab. In the video, Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen is spotted looking over the Cybercab’s white interior, which has two passenger seats, an infotainment system between the front seats, and no steering wheel.
The video posted on X also provided a glimpse of the Cybercab’s potential cabin structure. It looks like the Tesla Cybercab will be built for two passengers and have plenty of storage at the back. The Cybercab’s mock-up didn’t include a steering wheel or infotainment system, but the passenger seats looked to be complete.
Elon Musk announced that Tesla will unveil its Robotaxi vehicle in August after a Reuters report claimed the company would be scrapping its plans to release a $25,000 electric vehicle (EV).
During its first-quarter earnings call, Musk shared that Tesla executives and workers have been heavily discussing the company’s future lineup. Tesla has decided to speed up the release of its next-generation vehicles, with the first to start production by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
“We’ve updated our future vehicle lineup to accelerate the launch of new models ahead, previously mentioned start of production in the second half of 2025. So, we expect it to be more like the early 2025, if not late this year.
“These new vehicles, including more affordable models, will use aspects of the next-generation platform as well as aspects of our current platforms, and we’ll be able to produce on the same manufacturing lines as our current vehicle lineup,” said Elon Musk.
