The Tesla Model 3 Performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) received an official EPA estimate of 303 miles in the United States.
Tesla recently increased the price of the Model 3 Performance AWD by $1,000 from $53,990 to $54,990. The Tesla Model 3 Performance was initially released in April 2024, starting at $52,990. The Performance qualifies for the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) federal tax credit of $7,500.
The Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD comes with the Performance Upgrade, including a bespoke performance design, AWD with Performance Drive Unit, Sport Seats, Adaptive Suspension, 20” Forged Wheels, and Track Mode V3. The Performance variant has a top speed of 163 mph and runs 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
The Model 3 Performance’s free paint option is Stealth Grey. Tesla also offers Pearl White Multi-Coat, Deep Blue Metallic, and Solid Black for an additional $1,000. The Ultra Red paint option costs an extra $2,000. The Performance variant comes with Tesla’s Summer Tires 20” Warp Wheels.
Customers may also purchase Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability for an additional $8,000. Tesla FSD comes with Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, Summon, Smart Summon, Autosteer on city streets, and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control.
The Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) starts at $38,990, while the Long Range AWD variant costs $47,740. The Model 3 RWD and Long Range AWD variants do not qualify for the IRA’s $7,500 federal tax credits.
The Model 3 RWD variant comes with All-Season 18” Photon Wheels, offering an EPA estimated range of 272 miles. For an additional $1,000, customers may also purchase All-Season 19” Nova Wheels with the Model 3 RWD, offering an estimated range of 248 miles.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range has an EPA estimated range of 341 miles with the free All-Season 18” Photon Wheels. It has a range estimate of 305 miles with the All-Season 19” Nova Wheels, which cost an additional $1,000 with the Long Range Model 3.
