Tesla Model 3 with split folding rear seats spotted near Fremont warehouse
A new set of Tesla Model 3 images givrs us a glimpse at Model 3’s folding rear seats. Photos of the gorgeous blue Model 3 were reportedly taken from Tesla’s Fremont Warehouse located off of Kato Road and 1.5 mi (2.5 km) from the company’s main factory in Fremont, California.
Looking at the photos, one can make out what appears to be a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat configuration similar to what’s found in the Model S and Model X. Read more
Tesla Model 3 center display remastered in high-res based on spy shots
Enterprising graphic artist Denzzian provides a first high-res look at Tesla’s Model 3 center touchscreen controls through a digitally remastered spy shot of the vehicle’s dashboard. Referencing recent photos that captured Model 3’s center console display and steering wheel, Denzzian reconstructed every detail of the interior in fine detail through Photoshop. Read more
HBO’s Vice puts Tesla CTO JB Straubel and Kauai’s Solar + Powerpack system in the spotlight
HBO’s Vice News unpacked details behind Tesla Energy’s recent installation of a huge solar energy plant on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Similar to the Tesla-SolarCity microgrid built on the island of Ta’u, the sustainable energy system at Kauai’s combines the use a 52 megawatt-hour commercial Tesla Powerpack 2 battery system with a 13 megawatt solar farm.
