Elon Musk recently visited Capitol Hill as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s guest during his address to Congress.

The Tesla CEO was spotted among the Israeli Prime Minister’s personal guests during his speech to Congress about the ongoing war with Hamas. Musk sat in the upstairs gallery of the Senate Chamber, in Prime Minister Netanyahu’s box.

Elon Musk and the Israeli Prime Minister have met several times over the past few months. In September 2023, the Israeli Prime Minister visited Elon Musk and took a tour around Tesla’s Fremont Factory. Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife also walked around the Fremont Factory and rode a Tesla Cybertruck during their visit.

A few months later, in November 2023, Musk visited Prime Minister Netanyahu in Israel. The Tesla CEO stayed in Israel for a week, touring an Israeli kibbutz that was attacked by Hamas on October 7.

Netanyahu’s recent speech to Congress mentions Israel’s long-standing relationship with the United States several times.

“For the forces of civilization to triumph, America and Israel must stand together. Because when we stand together, something very simple happens: We win, they lose.

“When we fight Iran, we are fighting the most radical and murderous enemy of the United States… We’re not only protecting ourselves; we’re protecting you…” Netanyahu told Congress.

Elon Musk and the Israeli Ministry of Communication mutually agreed on Starlink operations in Israel. Starlink internet coverage includes Gaza.
