Tesla hiring in Spain for upcoming Barcelona and Madrid showroom store

Tesla Supercharger in Girona, Spain

the town of Paterna near Valencia, Spain put together a YouTube video intended to convince Elon Musk and Tesla that the country was the best suited area in Europe for a potential Tesla factory Why? Because it was near the port of Valencia with its excellent railway connections to the rest of the Continent. Even better, the weather is very similar to Silicon Valley, so Tesla personnel would feel right at home there.

Since then, Tesla hasn’t said any more about a European factory, but it is anxious to expand its sales and Supercharger facilities within the country. As seen through the company’s job listings page, Tesla is advertising for a Sales Advisor and Tesla Product Specialists in Barcelona. According to the job description, “This person will function with the use of a shared test drive car from the store, working with the store manager and product specialists to grow both retail and fleet sales.”

The Sales Advisor will be primarily responsible for helping introduce the Model X to the Spanish market. The successful candidate will work with the store manager and product specialists to grow retail and fleet sales and conduct “external test drive events from time to time.” Interested persons can apply online. The only requirements, other than extensive sales experience, is fluency in English and having a valid driver’s license.
