Ford CEO Jim Farley travels Europe in the company’s e-Transit Custom van. Farley is gathering customer feedback as he travels with the Ford e-Transit Custom van.
“Hi, everyone. We’re day 2 on the trip. It’s been really valuable cause we did more driving today with the electric e-Transit Custom,” said Farley in a video posted on X.
Farley summed up the people he met during his trip behind the wheel of a Ford e-Transit Custom. He mentioned meetings with an electrician company with ten Ford vehicles and a Ford Pro dealer.
Farley hit the road on the Ford e-Transit Custom van on August 28, 2024. He visited the Autohaus Bayer Transit Center, a Ford Pro dealer. The Center upfits specialty vehicles for local businesses. The Ford CEO also visited Electro Hinnenberg in Wiesbaden, Germany. The electrician company uses Ford Pro Telematics to keep operations running smoothly.

On the second day of his travels, Farley felt encouraged about the positive acceptance of the company’s products but emphasized that there was still a lot of work to be done. Farley specifically pointed out Ford services, suggesting that there would need improvements on that end.
“…we have a lot of work to do on the services. We have a long list of ‘to dos’ that I’ll be working on the team on,” Farley noted.
Ford unveiled the e-Transit Custom van for small businesses earlier this year. The new Ford Pro e-Transit van was launched in Europe and is produced at the company’s Ottoman Assembly Plant in Türkiye.
