Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter this morning to tease a new product announcement slated for noon Pacific Time today. What will be revealed is anyone’s guess, but recent reports that the long-rumored 100 kWh battery has been approved for sale in Europe, and a sighting of a Model S P100D listed as a vehicle option on Tire Rack, could mean a longer range, and more powerful variant of the Model S and Model X could be on its way.

Since we’re speculating on what’s soon to be announced in a couple of hours time, there’s also the possibility that the billionaire serial entrepreneur will unveil the Tesla ‘snake bot’ charging solution to address increasingly busier Supercharger stations. One can argue that this couldn’t come early enough especially with reports from Model S and Model X owners of congested Supercharger location across popular routes.

And lastly, let’s not forget that the Model 3 Part 2 unveiling is slated for sometime this year. An announcement of a Model 3 heads up display (HUD), and “the obvious thing” which many believe Musk was alluding to a fully autonomous driving system, could provide further clues that the long-awaited Autopilot 2.0 without the use of LIDAR is coming for its fleet of vehicles.
