Professional photographer James Lipman has begun releasing photos from both inside and outside the Gigafactory through his Instagram account. We’ve seen many drone flyover videos of the Gigafactory, some in stunning 4k ultra high definition, but this is the first real look of Gigafactory 1 as it nears the final phases of completion.
Lipman lives in the UK and has done work for BBC’s Top Gear, Car Magazine, Evo Magazine, just to name a few – and now Tesla Motors. First picked up by EVAnnex, Lipman’s Instagram photos describe the Gigafactory as “hypermodern” and a site that “totals 3000 acres and will run entirely on #renewableenergy. By 2020, the factory structure will be the second largest building in the world.”
Below are Lipman’s photos from his Instagram account.
