Tesla Tuner Treats Tesla Motors Club Crowd to First Viewing
Hawthorne, CA – 7/29/2014 – Unplugged Performance, the leading Tesla-focused performance organization, displayed the fruits of their development efforts at the TMC Connect event in front of hundreds of Tesla owners and influencers, put on by Tesla Motors Club (TMC) in Monterey CA.
TMC Connect event attendees were treated to an in the flesh debut of the Unplugged Performance Model S development car. The vehicle clearly left an impression visually, even if the depth of modifications being developed on the vehicle span beyond what first meets the eye. Unplugged’s Model S P85+ serves as the development car for a wide range of both currently released and in-development upgrades. Unplugged’s performance upgrade development road map encompasses upgraded handling, braking, acceleration, battery range, interior and exterior. At the event however everyone’s eyes were focused on the complete carbon fiber replacement front diffuser system, side skirts, rear diffuser system and trunk spoiler which were all produced by ex-Ferrari and ex-Boeing staff in house at Unplugged’s Hawthorne California office, a mere stone’s throw away from Tesla’s own design center.
“Tesla Motors Club (TMC) is the first and largest independent group for Tesla owners and enthusiasts. TMC Connect, as our annual conference event, is a great place for our users to come together to meet and share ideas in person,” said Doug King CEO of TMC. “We were happy to have Unplugged Performance as a featured exhibitor at our event. I think it is a reflection of the maturity of Tesla as a brand that there is a thriving performance and accessory market for the Model S.”
