Tesla has begun building out its first store in the Philippines, after job listings in the country were recently spotted.

Street decals for an upcoming Tesla store have been spotted in Taguig in the Uptown Bonifacio shopping district, the same city where job listings for sales and service positions have recently been surfacing. While Tesla hasn’t yet launched sales of its vehicles in the country yet, local media outlets such as When In Manila are reporting that the automaker could launch sales by the end of this year.

The upcoming location marks the first Tesla store to reach the Philippines, and the site is also likely to include a service center given the several job listings for service positions in the area. You can find Tesla’s open positions in the Philippines on its career page here, all of which are currently located in Taguig.

The shopping center also includes a number of EV charging stations, and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see some Tesla Superchargers start popping up in the coming months—perhaps even at the Taguig location.

Tesla has launched EV sales in a few nearby regions, with the U.S. company last year launching in Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea, and a year earlier in Japan, Singapore, and on the island of Taiwan. Tesla hasn’t launched EV sales in nearby countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, or Laos, though the automaker also has Gigafactory production facilities in Shanghai, China.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX did launch its Starlink internet services in the Philippines last February, after the decision had been approved in 2022 by the country’s National Telecommunications Commission. Tesla has also deployed some of its energy products in the country for individual projects, which in some cases have helped some communities stabilize their local power grids.
