Tesla has posted a new promotional video showcasing the current capabilities of Full Self-Driving (Supervised). FSD (Supervised) is currently being rolled out today to an increasing number of owners who purchased or subscribed to the advanced driver-assist system.
As could be seen in the video advertisement, FSD (Supervised) has the capability to navigate inner-city streets on its own, most of it without human intervention. The video featured a number of scenarios that are quite challenging during inner-city drives, such as detours, tight gaps, and unprotected turns.
Like Tesla’s other advertisements for FSD, the company’s video was accompanied by a disclaimer stating that drivers must always pay attention while FSD (Supervised) is operating and that drivers must be prepared to take over for the system at any time. This is something that Tesla has maintained over the years, even as more advanced FSD or Autopilot features are released.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is arguably the biggest proponent of FSD, and this was evident in his comment on the video. In a quote post on X, Musk noted that driving with FSD (Supervised) “feels like magic.”
Musk’s comments and Tesla’s FSD (Supervised) video received polarizing reactions from the company’s followers online, with some commenters stating that they have not received the latest version of the advanced driver-assist system in their vehicles yet. Others also criticized Tesla for posting its advertisement on X since users of the platform are already quite knowledgeable about the system’s capabilities.
Tesla is investing a lot of resources in its FSD program, as evidenced by the company’s buildout of Cortex, a supercomputer cluster in Giga Texas, as well as an upcoming $500 billion Dojo supercomputer in Buffalo, New York. Such investments are noteworthy considering that FSD is a central part of products like the dedicated Robotaxi, which is expected to be unveiled on October 10.
