Tesla Model X Puts on a Holiday Light Show

After completing another year of great successes at Tesla, with the most recent being the launch of its long-awaited electric crossover SUV, the company had plenty of reasons to celebrate this holiday season.  Engineers at the company had a bit of fun by hacking into the Model X and configuring it to put on a light show spectacular using nothing but the vehicle’s features.

The company synchronized a sequence of headlight and turn signal flashes, and the opening/closing of its falcon wing doors, to give the appearance as if the Model X was flapping its wings to the tune of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards In Winter.” The Model X auto-presenting front door feature also makes an appearance within the 3 minute video as its movements are seen carefully choreographed to the music.
