Tesla Motors has done a great job calming those with range anxiety especially with its recent news on expanding their Supercharger network to 98% of the US by 2015. However even with a charge of 120 kW, nearly 20 x that of a Nissan Leaf, a full charge would still require over 30 minutes of charging time.
A technology being adopted in Switzerland called “Flash Charging” can deliver a blazing 400 kW of transfer and charge an electric bus within 15 seconds!
