Hyundai’s 2024 Olympics Ad Celebrates You & Your Kids

Hyundai kicked off its Olympics advertisement campaign with a video titled “It’s OK,” revealing the legacy automaker’s dedication to understanding its customers.

Hyundai’s “It’s OK” video reveals the forethought the company put into its ad campaign during the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The ad featured Hyundai’s award-winning SUVs, including the IONIQ 5, Tucson, Sante Fe, and Palisade. However, the ad’s main focus was the people–or more specifically, the kids–inside the vehicles.

“The creative takes a different approach in terms of tone, and we hope it strikes a chord or even starts a dialogue about the importance of balance in life – and finding the joy in every journey,” explained Hyundai Motor America’s CMO, Angela Zepeda.

“It’s OK” tells the stories of children and their journey with sports. In the ad, Hyundai highlights the struggles and obstacles children might face while on their sports journey. The video also focuses on people who support children in sports.

“We wanted to use this moment to remind parents that kids need to find joy in their sports journeys, even if means taking a break or pivoting to something else,” added Jason Sperling, INNOCEAN USA’s Chief Creative Officer.

Hyundai will release two 30-second halftime advertising spots during the 2024 Summer Games. The South Korean automaker will also have a starting lineup and halftime, presenting sponsorship features in each game with digital preview and recap videos.
