CAUGHT: Tesla Model X Hauling Freight on CA Highway

Better known for its association with garlicky goodness,  garlic ice cream and being the “Garlic Capital of the World”, Gilroy California, has also been the home to recent Tesla Model X sightings.

This latest sighting, submitted to us via a cell phone capture, shows the Model X hauling freight down CA Highway 101. These pictures were captured the same week another Model X was sighted performing off-road testing in Chandler, AZ.

Tesla is clearly making the bold statement that their next-generation of engineering is far more capable than becoming the world’s fastest SUV. With dual motor power, all wheel drive traction and 90kWh of battery capacity, any skepticism that the Model X won’t be able to support a 10,000 pound towing capacity slowly fades into the ether, especially with these latest photos.
